I just had to share this probably because I remember when I had about 3 readers.

Here’s a snapshot of my Goodread’s Author Dashboard when the 1000th person added Beauty Rising to their shelf.

Now, of course, this is a small amount when comparing with well-known, established authors. But I’m not here to compare. I’m here to be thankful for the wonderful readers who have responded overwhelmingly to this no-name author. It truly is humbling.

I’ve also worked hard to get out the word and connect with readers and reviewers however I can.

This for me, is just the beginning. I’m in only my seventh month from the time I decided to “take the plunge” and become an indie author, and now I’m only three month away from the release of my second novel, The Recluse Storyteller.

Beauty Rising is my first stepping stone to build from, which means I’m working harder than ever so my sophomore release will be even that much better.
