Three Funny (and forgotten?) Movie Recommendations for Christmas

We all like a good Christmas movie this time of year, and, of course, we have lots of classics to choose from. But here are three you may have never seen – or at least not in a while – that I highly recommend.

Put a little fun into your holidays with some Christmas classics:

1) “We’re No Angels” – 1955 – Humphrey Bogart, Aldo Ray, and Peter Ustinov star as three escaped convicts who end up helping a merchant’s family at Christmas time. The script is fun and witty, with great performances. I especially loved Ustinov’s character. Very fun and unique. Very funny.    (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00340K4Y0)

2. “The Shop Around the Corner” 1940 Jimmy Stewart. Some might know the remake version of this “You’ve Got Mail” with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. But “The Shop” is a classic. Some wonderfully funny characters plus Jimmy Stewart. I love this movie.

3. “Christmas in Connecticut” – 1945 – Barbara Stanwyck. This is a wonderfully funny film starring Stanwyck as a America’s ideal magazine mother, only to find out that it’s really all a facade to sell magazines – unbeknownst to the owner. It’s a great movie of mishaps and misunderstandings.
