Episode 11 of the Crossing Ideas Podcast is now available for streaming or downloads on any podcast service including Spotify, Apple, Stitcher, iHeartRadio, Apple, Google, and more.
In this episode, I recall how my eldest child needed other kids to play with after we moved to Vietnam in 1994. This led to a series of amazing things she learned and amazing experiences she had – including learning how to sing communist songs! Don’t worry, we didn’t become true believers. But we did learn how to navigate a different culture. We did learn a thing or two about raising kids. And the experiences we had have informed my beliefs about a lot things – including reparations. I talk about all of this and more in this new episode.
