Look at this wonder book cover. The emotional feeling this book cover gives me would be hard to duplicate with a digital cover, don’t you think?

The tattered edges, the torn spine, the creased cover. Just beautiful. I picked up this masterpiece at a bookshop in Virginia for only 10 cents. I had wanted to read “The Ugly American” for quite a while, so when I saw it, I jumped at the chance. It was the best 10 cents I ever spent as it went on my favorite books of all time list.

Sometimes there are hidden gems in strange places.
