The 1 YR Anniversary of “The Recluse Storyteller” – Hint: Going free soon!

“5 STARS … This is definitely one of my favourite books of the year!” – Myra, from Pieces of Whimsey

Early October marks the one-year anniversary of the release of my second novel, The Recluse Storyteller.

I was nervous releasing this one because of it’s unique narration style and because it’s a combination of five different stories. It can be kind of confusing – at first! I knew some readers wouldn’t like the way I told the story. Some even called it “poorly executed.” Ouch!

But that’s all right because overall it has been very well received in the realm of readers. I think it’s a story that grows on you. At first you have this strange reclusive middle-aged woman who seems completely off the rails and insane as she tells stories to herself about the neighbors she watches.

But if the reader doesn’t give up, they will be rewarded to a unique blending of the stories which ultimately brings everything back to the feet or our protagonist. The stories that she tells range from historical fiction, to a Vietnam War story, to a high-adventure thriller. Eventually, we see the storyteller herself unmasked, and her story is revealed. It’s a lot of fun in a gripping emotional kind of way.

If you haven’t read it, please check it out in either Kindle or paperback.

HINT: It’s going free on Kindle next week for a few days!

As always, thanks for your support.
