My brilliant young actor, Ysabel Loh, created her first short film entitled “Chasing Inspiration.” It’s a film meant to elicit a connection with her hometown of Georgetown, Penang. It does this beautifully.

Ysabel is an award-winning actress, and she’ll be heading off to the UK for Film Studies later this year. She will also be my lead actress in the drama I’m producing this semester called “The Secrets of the Magic Pool.”

I can’t wait to see where her talent and enthusiasm takes her in life, and ever time I see her, I try to hypnotize her into hiring me as her future screen writer. (Don’t tell her! I think it’s working.)
