Happy 2017 everyone!
Penang doesn’t exactly look like this, but chose enough. The building have sprung like mushrooms over these past 11 years, and yes, today is my 11th and last New Year’s in Penang. I’ll be leaving this tropical paradise in June, but enough about that today. There will be much more time for reflection later.
But today, on the first day of 2017, I want to thank you all for checking out my blog over the past year. It’s been fun to see the number of visitors and views increase, but I appreciate the comments and interaction much more. It’s been fun to share my views and news about a lot of topics, and it’s great to hear yours as well.
I also realize that 2017 marks my tenth year as a writer, kind of. I’ve only been publishing for five, I was writing for five before that, so this is a monumental year for me. What a blast it has been.
I have a lot more to write about (plans for the New Year, my big move coming up, New Year’s resolutions, writing projects, the Trump presidency), but I ate too much dip and I want to go to bed.
Hope you have a wonderful and safe New Year!
